Goal: Kitchen Remodel

Vision of our new kitchen includes the following: stainless steel appliances, tile floor, white cabinets (w/ some open glass), tile backsplash, combo of butcher block and paperstone countertops. Paint colors and lighting are still being decided, but we are trying to make choices that fit with the style/era of the house (1920’s bungalow).

Goal: Save 1% of sales per month.

We've successfully owned and operated Milo's City Cafe since September 1999. This is a neighborhood restaurant that our whole family participates in. My wife Marianne runs the dining room and its crew, and takes care of the guests. I run the kitchen, take care of maintenance and run the office. All three of our kids, our parents, nieces, nephews, cousins brothers, and kids of friends and customers have all worked with with us in some capacity.

Goal: $8000 for a Down Payment.

Now that one needs a paycheck and a pulse to buy a house it seems I’ve few options but to scrape together some cash because for some reason everyone insists on something called a down payment before letting me move in. For me that amounts to about $8,000. I don’t have $8k sitting around, but my goal in the next few months is to be able to say I do.
